Barcelona's Sagrada Familia Revisited

This is a photo and a video clip that I took and had nearly forgotten about it. After our Camino walk in October 2012, we had a brief stopover in Barcelona to catch a flight back to Singapore, just enough time to revisit Gaudi's Sagrada Familia. The last time we were there in 2009 there was still a lot of work to be done. This time, while while works were still being carried out, much of the interior was finsihed and the Basilica was already a full working place of worship. Gaudi would have been pleased after all these years.

A quick look around Yangon

We had three days to look around Yangon, mainly at the old colonial buildings, temples, churches, food and people.

Training for the Camino

We are just about ready for the Camino. An unintended benefit of our training has been in knowing our part of Sydney much better. We found places we never knew existed !

Thanks to K, a birthday treat - lamb briyani. For me, that was better than a birthday cake.

First steps to the Camino

We are in preparation for the Camino in Spain. We have been walking and walking, and here are shots of K on two occasions, unintentionally similar in the pose.

Walking in Hunters Hill.

Transition of Venus. The shadow of the planet as viewed through a Mylar filter, caught on my camera in between rain clouds over Sydney today.
